John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. 20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
Hello again, and God Bless you all from Batangas City. During update time I always get caught up in the emotional joy of being in service to the King of Kings. Often I catch myself talking about such things as though they’ve never happened to anyone else – ever. But I never stop being amazed at the glory and goodness of the God of Jesus Christ, and that He would use me for any good work. Enjoy the pictures and the story knowing that you are all a part of that He is doing here.
Seeing the Kingdom multiply with new salvations over and over again, seeing more lives changing…
and increasing spiritual growth and maturity happening among new believers…
watching children and youth ministries explode, being invited into strangers’ homes for bible study and prayer…
Watching men and women overcome addictions and poverty and taking the “next step” in discipleship, being humbled and humiliated by the outpouring of fresh volunteer ministry workers because you can’t do it – any of it, let alone all of it…
Moving successfully from repairing one “Broken Rooftop” to the next…
Realizing your heart’s desire to reach out in love to a Muslim community with the truth of Jesus Christ is starting to take shape…
Watching a new work begin in a place where there wasn’t one before…
These are just some of the things that happen when we’re seeking Him and listening to what He’s trying to say. These are some of the things that happen when you just say “yes” to the one who does all the work and gives all the increase.
*Special Note – BCBC hosted a Mission Conference over the weekend, and I met some really cool people ministering in places like Madagascar, Uganda, and Nepal. But the most interesting thing that happened to me is when God began to enlarge our territory by introducing me to Pastor Joel, from a place north of Manila in Nueva Ecija Province. He came looking for help finding material to use for a government endorsed addiction recovery ministry in a regional Rehabilitation Facility there. He needed material from a program so the government would approve his ministry. Joel was directed to me by one of the local Pastors here in Batangas whom I had not met… I provided Joel with the material he needed. He accompanied me to our Recovery meeting the next day and even translated for me during the counseling. The Spirit took ahold of both of us and we preached together. We’ve become great friends. Now He will be coming back to spend time with me in our ministry and then I’ll be going back to Nueva Ecija with Him to speak in his church and help with his new ministry start up. How blessed can one person be?
“…and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.”
