John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. 20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
Hello again, and God Bless you all from Batangas City. During update time I always get caught up in the emotional joy of being in service to the King of Kings. Often I catch myself talking about such things as though they’ve never happened to anyone else – ever. But I never stop being amazed at the glory and goodness of the God of Jesus Christ, and that He would use me for any good work. Enjoy the pictures and the story knowing that you are all a part of that He is doing here.
Seeing the Kingdom multiply with new salvations over and over again, seeing more lives changing…
and increasing spiritual growth and maturity happening among new believers…
watching children and youth ministries explode, being invited into strangers’ homes for bible study and prayer…
Watching men and women overcome addictions and poverty and taking the “next step” in discipleship, being humbled and humiliated by the outpouring of fresh volunteer ministry workers because you can’t do it – any of it, let alone all of it…
Moving successfully from repairing one “Broken Rooftop” to the next…
Realizing your heart’s desire to reach out in love to a Muslim community with the truth of Jesus Christ is starting to take shape…
Watching a new work begin in a place where there wasn’t one before…
These are just some of the things that happen when we’re seeking Him and listening to what He’s trying to say. These are some of the things that happen when you just say “yes” to the one who does all the work and gives all the increase.
*Special Note – BCBC hosted a Mission Conference over the weekend, and I met some really cool people ministering in places like Madagascar, Uganda, and Nepal. But the most interesting thing that happened to me is when God began to enlarge our territory by introducing me to Pastor Joel, from a place north of Manila in Nueva Ecija Province. He came looking for help finding material to use for a government endorsed addiction recovery ministry in a regional Rehabilitation Facility there. He needed material from a program so the government would approve his ministry. Joel was directed to me by one of the local Pastors here in Batangas whom I had not met… I provided Joel with the material he needed. He accompanied me to our Recovery meeting the next day and even translated for me during the counseling. The Spirit took ahold of both of us and we preached together. We’ve become great friends. Now He will be coming back to spend time with me in our ministry and then I’ll be going back to Nueva Ecija with Him to speak in his church and help with his new ministry start up. How blessed can one person be?

First service in the Malitam Mission House!!!
Today we had our Recovery Service at the Malitam Barangay Hall as usual, and it was a great service. The interaction and participation increases every week. But we also had our first Children’s Ministry later in the afternoon today. What a blessing it was, thanks to our Sisters, Marilou and Abby!!! But it just occurred to me: WE JUST HAD OUR VERY FIRST SERVICE IN THE ROOFTOP COVENANT MISSION HOUSE-MALITAM!!! God is so good and His glory outshines the sun!!! Looks like YOU and JESUS have planted a work in one of the roughest places in Batangas City:

Happy Saturday, everyone!!!
First, I want to thank everyone from our ARCOM SYSTEMS, Inc family for the care packages. You honestly have no idea how this kind of thing improves attitude and state of mind. God always provides just the right thing, in just the right amount, in just the right time. THANK YOU!!!
Now for the really good stuff:
For some time now, the message in my heart has been, and still is “We just need to say ‘YES’ to our God and Savior”. We should be speaking to Him in our prayers and in our worship and praise. We should be listening and looking for Him in every part of our lives – His word, our circumstances, our surroundings, the people we see and come into contact with, everything that enters our ears, the good and bad events in our lives, the sufferings and joys we face every single day.
James 4:7 says we’re supposed to SUBMIT ourselves to God. Jesus said in Luke 6:46, “Don’t call me Lord to my face and then fail to do what I tell you”. He asked this question a few times at some pretty pivotal points in people’s lives: “Do you believe?” And, He said these things a number of times” Repent”, “Take up your cross”, “Follow Me”, “Love others truly the way I love you”.
He said, “Go everywhere and teach everybody everything I’ve ever said to you”. And, if you get your concordance out as you look through the Gospels and the epistles, you’ll likely find a direct connection between BELIEF and OBEDIENCE, also known as SUBMISSION.
I’m not saying it’s easy. It’s NOT. True BELIEF involves submission, and obedience, and the kind of faith that really is bigger than our fears, and our human logic and reasoning. But, when we finally find our way to that place where we really understand the true meaning of the words “Lord, I give you my life to do with whatever you want” (those are among the words I said when I was saved) we find that this is also the place of understanding that HE is already there doing the work, and we are just being used by HIM and under HIS protection, power and blessing.
You never are exactly in that place – believe me, I know – But you want to be and you strive and struggle to be.That’s when you get to see things you can’t explain. You get to meet people you never knew before and it changes your life in some important way. People come to your house hungry for earthly and spiritual food and leave you happy to clean up the mess later. That’s when other people in other places start seeing (through you) what words like “Saved”, and “Christlike”, and “discipleship” mean. You get to teach someone that “Recovery” is, in part, replacing a bad thing with a good thing, and the good thing is a SAVIOR. You get to lead people to Jesus. And then you get to Reap whey you have not planted because the Kingdom is multiplying because you are bearing fruit and your fruit is working and bearing fruit – I haven’t found a greater feeling so far than THAT, and it’s depicted 3 or 4 times in all the pictures in this post! All that because you’re obedient. You’re willing to “roll with it”, listening and watching for what He’s telling you.
And at the end of the day, you have stars in your crown and a new Work with a body of new believers to start. Those of you who know me best, know that this can only be God at work. He is good!!!
